Is it really possible that you will never again have to manage multiple accounts in multiple countries to pay your bills throughout Europe?

If so, how?

By paying your bills via SEPA Direct Debits in the 33 countries of the SEPA zone from your
BGL BNP Paribas account.

SEPA direct debits will automatically replace the current domestic direct debits, which will cease to exist on 1 February 2014.

You manage all your recurring-amount payments in Europe from a single account in Luxembourg (by direct debit). It's practical for monitoring your transactions .

Increased protection:

  • you benefit from a single, unconditional payment
    • over a period of 8 weeks after deduction of the sum from your account;
    • over a period of 13 months in the event of an unauthorised transaction (mandate does not exist or was terminated).
  • You can manage all your direct debits yourself, by determining with your BGL BNP Paribas advisor which companies in which countries are authorised to debit your account, how often and for how much.

How can I receive these benefits?

  • You don't need to do anything - it's your service provider (your creditor) who will be responsible for taking the necessary steps.
  • If you need to change your existing direct debits and their settings, please contact your creditor.
  • Currency: Euro
  • IBAN and BIC code for identification of the debtor (you) and the bank
  • Debtor's account (yours) and creditor's account (that of the service provider) in the SEPA zone
  • Electricity bills for your house in Arlon
  • Your student son's rent in Germany
  • Condominium fees for your second home in Spain
