How to access my secure messaging from the Web Banking? 

 

The secure messaging feature in your Web Banking allows you to communicate safely with BGL BNP Paribas and our customer service at any time.

To ensure the security of your exchanges, no messages are sent to your personal email address. All communications are centralized in your Web Banking area.

Whether on the mobile app or the website, here’s how to access your secure messaging and how to send us a message.

  • From the 'Dashboard', select 'Messaging' OR in the 'Contact' menu, select 'Messaging' (on the app) or go to the 'Messaging' menu (on the website).

In both cases, you’ll arrive in your secure messaging inbox — the preferred way to communicate with BGL BNP Paribas.

NEW! How to make an appointment from the Web Banking? 

You can schedule an in-branch or phone appointment directly from your Web Banking area, via the mobile app or the bgl.lu website:
 

From the mobile app: 

1. In the 'CONTACT' menu, choose 'Appointment'. 

2. Select the purpose of your appointment: 

  • Financing 
  • Savings and investment 
  • Insurance and tax products 
  • Other requests 

3. Enter your request in the 'Comment' field

 

From the website : 

  1. Click the 'Your contacts' button to the left of the 'Logout' button at the top right of your screen. 
  2. Under your branch, click 'Appointment in branch or by phone'. 
  3. Select the purpose of your appointment and describe your request.
  4. Confirm your contact details, choose a time slot, and confirm your request.

  • How to write a message in your Web Banking area?

    You can write a message from your Web Banking area, via the mobile app or the website:

    1. From the dashboard, select 'Messaging', then tap the green "Write" button at the top right.
    2. Choose a subject from the dropdown list and write your message.
    3. If needed, add an attachment.
    4. Tap 'Send' to send your message directly. You can also save it as a draft and return to it later
       
  • How to access the main menu of my secure messaging?

    To access or return to the main menu of your secure messaging, whether on the mobile app or the website, go to your dashboard and select ‘Messaging’. You’ll see the messaging sections. On the mobile app, tap the green button at the bottom right to view:  

    • folders;
    • bin;
    • drafts;
    • outbox;
    • inbox.
  • How to find a draft in my secure messaging?

    From your secure messaging, go to the 'Drafts' tab. (On the app, this tab is accessible via the green button at the bottom right). You’ll see all messages saved as drafts.

  • How to create a folder in my secure messaging?

    From your secure messaging, go to the 'Folders' tab. (On the app, this tab is accessible via the green button at the bottom right):

    1. Enter a folder name to organize your messages 
    2. Select a message from 'Received' or 'Sent' and move it to the folder 
    3. Tap 'Confirm' and find your messages under the 'Folders' menu
       
  • How to view sent messages?

    From your secure messaging, go to the 'Sent messages' tab. (On the app, this tab is accessible via the green button at the bottom right). You’ll see all the messages sent to your BGL BNP Paribas advisor.

  • How to view received messages?

    From your secure messaging, go to the 'Received messages' tab. (On the app, this tab is accessible via the green button at the bottom right). You’ll see all the messages received from your advisor.

  • How to find a message in the trash?

    From your secure messaging, go to the 'Trash' tab. (On the app, this tab is accessible via the green button at the bottom right). You’ll see all the messages you’ve placed in the trash.

  • How to permanently delete a message?

    From your secure messaging, go to the 'Trash' tab. (On the app, this tab is accessible via the green button at the bottom right). Select the message to delete and tap the small red trash icon. The message will be permanently deleted and cannot be recovered.
