Private Lease is designed for Luxembourg residents.
You can rent any new car purchased from a Luxembourg dealer with the exception of luxury cars and vehicles weighing more than 3.5 tonnes authorised on Luxembourg roads.

Determined in advance, monthly lease payments (60 months maximum) are calculated based on the vehicle’s purchase price and include the car’s residual value, the contract term, mileage and operational services.
Yes. Early termination fees will be charged depending on the number of days prior to contractual termination. The agreement can also be transferred to a third party under certain conditions.
Yes. Insurance is included in our long-term lease offer. You can transfer your old no-claims bonus to your Private Lease agreement. Once your previous insurance has been cancelled, simply send your certificate to Arval Luxembourg, which will transfer your no-claims bonus to your car rental.
Arval Luxembourg remains the car’s legal owner, and no tax benefit is therefore possible under the Private Lease agreement. If you wish to take out a long-term lease as a self-employed or freelance professional, you must refer to the legal and tax framework governing your profession.
During the term of the agreement, it’s possible to change the term and mileage (subject to the maximum authorised term and mileage limits for the vehicle in question) up to three months before the vehicle is returned.
The monthly rent is then adjusted. It’s important to estimate your mileage carefully when the agreement is signed. In the event of any excess mileage consumption, an amendment to the agreement will be suggested taking into account a new lease payment and a new mileage allowance.
Any remaining mileage will be reimbursed.
Private Lease agreements do not provide the option of buying the car when the lease ends. The vehicle remains the property of the lessor, Arval Luxembourg, which is responsible for selling the car on the second-hand market when the agreement expires.
However, if at the end of the lease you wish to purchase the vehicle, Arval Luxembourg may sell it to you at the market price.
(3) Monthly rental prices are indicative and subject to (i) taxation, the vehicle's residual value determined by the lessor, the interest rate and the vehicle catalogue value, as well as (ii) any change in configuration and equipment.
The displayed monthly rental price (VAT included) depends on the agreed duration and mileage. The monthly rental includes: maintenance, repairs, one tyre change and storage for summer and winter tyres depending on wear, road tax, depreciation and interest, VAT, European roadside assistance service, a replacement vehicle of a lower category for any immobilisation exceeding 24 hours, the Perfecta service (coverage by Arval Luxembourg S.A. of the risk of damage, total loss or theft) with the application of an excess payable by the lessee under conditions, and insurance (civil liability insurance, legal protection and driver protection). Not included in the monthly rental: fuel and electricity costs and traffic fines. CO2 emission rates are also indicative and depend on the chosen options and/or data provided by the manufacturer. At the end of the contract, kilometers will be charged at the price indicated in the leasing contract. In the event of early termination of the leasing contract, a termination fee will be charged. No purchase option. Vehicle equipment and delivery time depend on availability from the manufacturer and/or importer and on the chosen configuration.
