We recently informed you of bank’s fees changes, with new fee conditions on some of our services coming into effect on 1 April 2023.
What’s changing? Are you affected by these changes? Full details can be found below.
Charges for providing a single-use card for in-branch cash withdrawals:
This affects you if:
- You make withdrawals and/or deposits at our ATMs using a single-use card provided by a manager in branch.
A simpler, quicker and free alternative is available: use your debit card at one of our ATMs to withdraw and/or deposit money!
From now on, the provision of an express card will cost €5/transaction.
Fees for manual operations involving standing orders:
This affects you if:
- You are between 18 and 74 years of age and you visit a branch to ask a manager to manually set up/change/delete a standing order.
From now on, there will be a €5 charge for all manual operations involving standing orders. Please note: you can set up/change/delete a standing order free of charge through the Web Banking app.
Why wait to use Web Banking or the Web Banking app? With these digital tools, you can set up standing orders free of charge.
Fees for money exchange operations in branch:
This affects you if:
- You are a retailer or private client and you visit a branch to exchange currency (exchanging notes for coins or coins for notes in the same currency).
A €5 charge will now be incurred for each operation to exchange notes for coins or coins for notes in the same currency.
Good to know: CompuSafe units are available for use free of charge, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week at the Royal branch. This secure solution will enable you to exchange money and deposit cash without incurring fees!

Review of custody fees for clients with the “Self Invest International” package
This affects you if:
- You are signed up to the Self Invest International package and have a securities account.
Custody fees will now be applied at a rate of 0.24%/year with a minimum of €12/quarter (free for BNP Paribas Group securities).
Review of fees for withdrawing cash from non-BGL BNP Paribas ATMs with a debit card
This affects you if:
- You are an adult, have a debit card and make cash withdrawals in euros in the eurozone, or in foreign currency, or outside the eurozone, from non-BGL BNP Paribas ATMs(1).
If you have an Essentiel package, you will still be able to make one free cash withdrawal in euros from a third-party ATM in the eurozone per month, but additional withdrawals will now come with a EUR 2.50 fee. Cash withdrawals from third-party ATMs outside the EU or in foreign currency will now come with a EUR 5 fee, plus any exchange rate.
These prices will also be valid for standard current accounts (outside the offer).
Within the global network of BNP Paribas (Global Network) and its partners (Global Alliance), cash withdrawals in EUR with a debit card are also free of charge.
