What is BANCOMAT?

BANCOMAT is Luxembourg’s national ATM network. It brings together the country’s main banks to provide easier access to essential banking services.

In practice, you no longer need to look or an ATM belonging to a specific bank: BANCOMAT ATMs are gradually replacing individual banks’ own machines and can be used by customers of all participating banks for their everyday banking needs.

Where can I withdraw cash?

With your BGL BNP Paribas card, you can use all BANCOMAT ATMs across Luxembourg, free of charge⁽¹⁾and under the same conditions as today.

With BNP Paribas Global Network et Global Alliance, you can withdraw cash free of charge⁽³⁾ using your bank card nearly 42,000 ATMs across more than 50 countries.

The BANCOMAT network is gradually expanding

Starting today, you can use BANCOMAT ATMs to withdraw cash.

Additional services will gradually be introduced so that you can continue to carry out your usual banking transactions.

Soon, you will also be able to:

deposit banknotes;
check your account balances;
view your latest transactions;
change your card PIN.

The BANCOMAT network is continuously evolving to integrate modern and innovative features, designed to make your day-to-day banking transactions even easier.

You can withdraw cash with your BGL BNP Paribas card at any BANCOMAT ATM.
Who can withdraw from BANCOMAT ATMs?

Any holder of a Visa or Mastercard card can withdraw cash from the network’s ATMs using their usual bank card.
Are BANCOMAT ATMs secure?

Yes, BANCOMAT ATMs comply with current banking security standards.
Are withdrawals from BANCOMAT ATMs charged?

No. Withdrawals made at BANCOMAT ATMs with a BGL BNP Paribas card do not incur additional fees. They are processed under the same pricing conditions as today.
Are all BGL BNP Paribas ATMs being replaced?

The replacement of former BGL BNP Paribas ATMs with new BANCOMAT ATMs is taking place progressively. Some existing machines therefore remain in service until the entire network has been fully modernised.
Do I need a new card to use a BANCOMAT ATM?

No action is required on your part. Your current BGL BNP Paribas card works automatically at all BANCOMAT ATMs.
Do the new ATMs offer the same functionalities as before?

Yes, you can perform the same transactions as before on BANCOMAT ATMs. Some functionalities are not yet available but will be gradually deployed across all ATMs. New features will also be introduced over time to make your transactions even easier.
