The benefits of OptiPension+ pension insurance

OptiPension+ is both a personalised savings scheme and pension insurance:

  • you choose the amount and frequency of premium payments;
  • you choose your investment strategy;
  • you can access your savings from the age of 60;
  • at the end of the policy, you can choose to redeem all or part of your savings in the form of a monthly annuity.

How does it work?

When you take out a policy, you can choose:

  • one of several predefined investment profiles;
  • a personalised investment profile.

Your premiums can be paid on an annual, half-yearly, quarterly or monthly basis.

Choose what you earn on your pension policy

You must hold the policy for at least 10 years. Once you turn 60, you can choose to have your savings paid out as a lump sum. If you accessare a Luxembourg tax resident or equivalent, you’ll benefit from favourable policy termination conditions, and your capital will only be taxed at half the overall income tax rate in force on the day you terminate the policy.

You may also decide to receive all or part of the amount as a monthly annuity, tax-free up to 50%.

Your instant tax benefits

You can deduct up to EUR 3,200 from your tax base per taxpayer per year, no matter what your age.
To be tax-deductible, the policy must be taken out for at least 10 years and must not mature before you reach the age of 60.

Protect your loved ones

In the event of death, the savings accrue to your designated beneficiary.
