Reimbursement of mortgage deed fees up to 0.5% of the total amount of your mortgage loan, with a maximum of EUR 5,000, for a primary residence in Luxembourg, provided that the notarial deed is signed before 31 December 2026.
For an amortised mortgage of EUR 500.000 fully disbursed in a single sum and repayable over 25 years at a variable interest rate of 4.00 % p.a., the borrower will repay 300 monthly instalments of EUR 2.657,98 (excluding optional insurance). The fixed annual effective interest rate is 4,12 % per year. Assuming the aforementioned interest rate does not change, the overall cost of the loan would be EUR 297.394.00 made up of debit interest (EUR 294.894,00), a one-time advance fee (EUR 2.000) and account handling charges (EUR 500). As a result, the total amount owed by the borrower would amount to EUR 797.394,00.
