When should I start saving?

While it’s important to have emergency savings to deal with any issues that may arise, it’s just as important to remember that your savings account isn’t the only tool at your disposal, particularly if you’re building up savings over the medium-term (3–5 years) or long-term (longer than 5 years).

A money market portfolio is considered low yield. And if we take the current rate of inflation into account, we get interest rates that are ultimately unattractive for money market investments in euro.
