BGL BNP Paribas has been recognised for its commitment to ecological waste management.
BGL BNP Paribas has been awarded the SuperDrecksKëscht® label, which for 5 years has promoted and driven forwards a strict policy in the area of waste management: cardboard, paper, glass, metal, electronics, wood, etc...
For this purpose, specific containers have been installed in order to limit household waste and reduce the costs of eliminating it.
Individually, each member of staff is encouraged to sort their waste into the different sections of their bins and use the sorting containers installed on each floor.
The SuperDrecksKëscht® fir Betriber label is a recognised quality label, created in 1993 and awarded by the Luxembourg Ministry for the Environment and the Chamber of Commerce to companies that manage their waste in a spirit of respect for the environment. Only those companies that implement the detailed waste management system set out by the SuperDrecksKëscht® fir Betriber may be awarded the quality label and thus become “Label Primeiert" businesses.
The criteria for being awarded the quality label are as follows:
commitment from all stakeholders;
implementation of waste prevention measures;
establishment of a collection station that is easily visible and accessible to all members of staff;
reliable and environmentally compliant storage;
selective waste collection;
a transparent and high-quality policy of recycling and eliminating waste;
environmentally compliant waste management
The SuperDrecksKëscht fir Betriber label is certified according to the international ISO 14024 standard.
