The second edition of the Lux4Good Hackathon was held on 11 and 12 October this year.

This 48-hour hackathon invited associations, NGOs, individuals, institutions and start-ups to try out and endorse a new digital concept, which will have a positive impact on the company and the social and solidarity economy.

As a Hackathon partner, BGL BNP Paribas awarded the prize to the Undefined team for taking first place with their WE Cohome project. This project aims to create a platform for connecting individuals and start-ups looking for a workplace.

Lux Future Lab, growing together

In 2012, BGL BNP Paribas created the Lux Future Lab to help support social and economic change in Luxembourg. This space acts as a driver of innovation by providing support to both new entrepreneurs and the Bank’s employees.

Lux Future Lab hosts start-ups and supports their projects by offering visibility, a network and advice covering all financial aspects (as well as coffee!).

To be able to join Lux Future Lab, start-ups must offer added value to the Luxembourg economy, i.e. have an impact on the country’s economic and social development. This commitment reflects the Bank’s desire to support projects that have a positive impact.

In addition to seeking out new talent, Lux Future Lab is also involved in the bank’s digital transformation. How? By promoting an innovation culture at all levels of the Bank through workshops and conferences, and by guiding the Bank’s business lines through these changes: new client expectations, technological innovation and the emergence of new requirements.
