Lux Future Lab, growing together

In 2012, BGL BNP Paribas created the Lux Future Lab to help support social and economic change in Luxembourg. This space acts as a driver of innovation by providing support to both new entrepreneurs and the Bank’s employees.

Lux Future Lab hosts start-ups and supports their projects by offering visibility, a network and advice covering all financial aspects (as well as coffee!).

To be able to join Lux Future Lab, start-ups must offer added value to the Luxembourg economy, i.e. have an impact on the country’s economic and social development. This commitment reflects the Bank’s desire to support projects that have a positive impact.

In addition to seeking out new talent, Lux Future Lab is also involved in the bank’s digital transformation. How? By promoting an innovation culture at all levels of the Bank through workshops and conferences, and by guiding the Bank’s business lines through these changes: new client expectations, technological innovation and the emergence of new requirements.

By integrating the latest technological advances, we’re able to offer our clients innovative solutions and a personalised experience. 

BGL BNP Paribas was the first bank to launch the Apple Pay service in Luxembourg, offering clients the option to make fast and secure payments.

Another innovation, Genius by BGL BNP Paribas helps clients better manage their money by tracking their account transactions. Developed with fintech Personetics, Genius offers a client experience that meets their every expectation.

Towards a phygital approach

We’ve also redesigned the in-branch client experience, guaranteeing a service that best meets their needs: increased availability of advisors, prepared meetings, and close consideration of our clients’ needs, combined with digital daily banking solutions. This “phygital” approach, combining the best of what people and the digital universe have to offer, can be found at every level of the bank.
