Your investor profile - the key to sound strategies.

Your personal investor profile is the essential starting point for any investment strategy, taking into account your resources, your investment horizon, your attitude to risk and your knowledge of financial markets.

BGL BNP Paribas has defined 4 investor profiles: low risk, moderate risk, advanced risk and high risk .

Once you have identified your personal profile, we will be able to propose an appropriate investment strategy.

If you are a BGL BNP Paribas client, you can define your profile with your financial advisor in your branch or use the dedicated function on our Web Banking service.

Moderate risk

Your investment horizon is between three and five years. You require gradual capital growth achieved by striking the right balance between the valuation of your assets and the generation of returns. Your portfolio will be diversified and your assets will generate returns at both regular and irregular intervals. Your portfolio will be exposed to moderate volatility in both the medium and the long term.

Advanced risk

Your investment horizon is between five and ten years. You require significant capital growth achieved through sustained increases in the valuation of your assets and the generation of high returns. Your portfolio will be highly diversified and your assets will predominantly generate returns at irregular intervals. Your portfolio will be exposed to the risk of volatility, particularly in the short and medium term.

High risk

Your investment horizon is over 10 years. You are seeking strong capital growth by focusing on capital gains.
