Expenses of deposits in foreign currencies

Deposit fees in CHF

Exceptional circumstances still affect the Swiss franc and the applicable reference rates, mainly as a result of decisions made by the Swiss National Bank (SNB) as part of its monetary policy (in particular, applying negative rates on deposits from banks with the SNB).

In this context, fees (the "Fees") are charged on sight deposits, current accounts and Optiflex accounts denominated in CHF since 01/06/2015. As stipulated in our initial communication of March 2015, these Fees amounted to 1% per annum of the total assets held by the Bank, and are charged on a quarterly basis.

Taking into account the current development, the above-mentioned Fees will be fixed at 1.10 % as per August 1th, 2016.

Deposit fees in SEK

Exceptional circumstances still affect the Swedish krona and its applicable reference rates, mainly as a result of decisions made by the Bank of Sweden as part of its monetary policy (in particular, applying negative rates on deposits from bank with the Bank of Sweden).

In this context, fees (the “Fees”) are charged on sight deposits, current accounts and Optiflex accounts denominated in SEK since 01/07/2019. Pursuant to our notice sent in April 2019, these Fees currently amount to 0.70 % per year of the total amount of assets held at the Bank, and are debited quarterly.

Deposit fees in DKK

Exceptional circumstances are currently affecting the Danish krone and the deposit rates applicable to it, mainly as a result of decisions made by the Bank of Denmark as part of its monetary policy (negative interest rates on deposits made by banks to the Bank of Denmark).

In this context, fees (the "Fees") have been levied on deposits, current accounts and Optiflex accounts in DKK since 1 September 2017.
These fees currently amount to 1.00% per year of the total amount of assets held by the Bank, and are debited quarterly.

Depending on how the situation develops, the Bank reserves the right to adapt the Fees amount of the respective currencies on a monthly basis. Any such changes will be communicated in accordance with the Bank's General Terms and Conditions and more particularly published on this website.
