SOCIAL ENTERPRISES
Act for Impact is a programme by BGL BNP Paribas dedicated to structures that innovate to make a positive social or environmental impact. Through this programme, our aim is to support these entities in their development.
WORKING WITH PARTICIPANTS IN THE SOCIAL AND SOLIDARITY ECONOMY
For several years now, BGL BNP Paribas has been committed to supporting initiatives that promote the social economy. We believe this sector is a powerhouse for finding new solutions to the challenges of the environmental and social transition, while also having a positive impact on the local economy.
As such, to strengthen our support and make our commitment more concrete, in 2019 we launched Act for Impact, which offers personalised banking and other kinds of support to over a hundred social impact structures.
What is a social enterprise?
At BGL BNP Paribas, we consider a social enterprise to be a company that meets at least the following three criteria:

- A team of specialised account managers trained in the specific characteristics of social enterprises;
- Access to the BNP Paribas network in Luxembourg;
- Skills provided by BNP Paribas Luxembourg staff;
- Meeting rooms provided at our Kirchberg site for specific needs;
- A tool to help measure impact.

Call to action
The Social and Solidarity Economy (SSE) is flourishing in Luxembourg and requires all actors in the ecosystem to work together. With "Act for Impact", we want to play our part and support this movement by offering specific support to social entrepreneurs.
BGL BNP Paribas and the MIKADO communications agency are delighted to launch the My Com For Impact competition, offering the prize of a communications campaign to gain greater visibility.
