If you have EUR 2,500 or more to set aside, a Rente Bleue account is worth thinking about.
This gives you a fixed rate of interest, confirmed as soon as you sign up, for a period of between 2 and 10 years, during which the money is frozen. You can opt to receive interest every month, every quarter, or once or twice a year.
Rente Bleue accounts are designed for medium and long-term investments, offering a fixed rate of interest throughout the duration of the placement. Interest is paid annually, but allowance is made for greater flexibility with the possibility of monthly, quarterly or half-yearly interest payments.
